Not even in hell she is welcome. Meet Dora Carridine, the daughter of Theodore Carridine- a reverend, and her mother, Josie Carridine an ex-pole dancing. Dora has tried every sin she is capable of just to annoy her parents, but for some time she has been practicing dark magic- to summon a demon lord. Her first command if she ever gets a demon lord? Make her room red from the pink-princess room her parents choosed for her.  She decides to try again to summon a demon, but not just a demon- a high-level one. Dora places several black candles (making a circle with them), an ornate pottery bowl with a mixture of herbs, five drops of her blood and a Karabashi bloodstone. Just when she thought this was another failure, she's being called a witch, with a hot blond demon and everyone wants her to burn. 


Profile:

1. Dora-> Also known as: "Demonic Dora", "Minx-witch", "Dora-minx". She is human and witch. She's brave, stubborn, fighter, lazy, intelligent (in her own ways). She's 5'8, wiht long legs, black hair; and has a really shiny soul, meaning she's more good than evil. She then (in evil form) had powerful wings. 

2. Kieron-> Kieron Derek Lascher is a demon lord, high-level. His ability is magic. He has high cheekbones, strong jawline, tanned skin, broad shoulders, great butt, abs, blond hair and blue eyes. He's very brave, intelligent, overreacting, silly, cute, even strong. There's something at the end of the book which can change what he is ( he then, has white and black wings.

3. Lord Lascher-> Lionel; Kieron's father. Demon form: Color: black, body with veiny muscles, long fingers, sharp talons, scaly wings and deep voice. Normal form: middle-aed man with slicked black hair and dark blue eyes. He's very powerful, bussiness man, traitor, he likes to tempt, and very silly when it comes to be with his wife.

4. Lady Lascher-> Anika; Kieron's mother. Normal form: She's a petit brunette with wazy hair and wears a sixties style dress. Very powerful (perhaps more than Lionel?), a pain the butt and very, very annoying. 

5. Pooey-> He is a small, brown colored demon with straggly fur, a squashed face and it was limply. Very grumpy and intelligent; has ninja skills and self-esteem issues. He can transform in a six-foot tall teddy with wicked claws and abs. Complete name: Personious Caelius.

Notes:

• Lord Lascher, Kieron and Dora had the chance to ride the big, red dragon of the famous The Sky Huntress. There are different flyers but are under her command. Sky Huntress wore flying goggles, had long, blond hair and had a shapely figure. 
• Kieron's grandmother comes from under Hell, beneath the lava lakes. Is the level of Hell that is full of sexual deviants. She's about ten-foot, blond amazon with curves and she looked like she had twenty five; wears a red leather underwear. Very nice and funny. His grandfather is 5'5 and slightly bald; wears black leather pants and a dog collar; his name is Hickory Lascher and his the Headmaster of Daemon Academia.
• Lascher's house: Is a vast castle on a hill at the side of the highway, with black pointy spires, with carvings of demons in every ledge, and in the entrance was the open mouth of a demonic creature with sharp teeth.
• Professor Kazaik-> He is tall and pale, with long black hair. He was the highest warlock in the level. He was a first class professor of power; which meant he was the most powerful demon in the school.
• They attein power by hating. 
• Soul chips-> Are to pay; if they are with a lot of light- pure- they have more meaning.

My Review:
The life of a bounty hunter is never easy: they aren't accepted anywhere and they have to kill- for money. But the life of bounty hunter Zyra Zanr is even worst than that of the others: if she doesn't bring back the terrorist Boris Skringler "Widow Maker" that's being accused of killinf three hundred and twenty-two passengers on a deep space transport, her life will be the pay; besides having a history with this criminal that was the man that made what she is of now, she's in love with a Venus woman named Mikaela from New Venus world- a world which once was ruled by mens and when the fight came now womens are the ruler and the only living things in that world; they even invented new forms of having a child, but those childs will only be girls. Zyra Zanr life is about to change when she asks Queen Karah Taresh for the release of Skringler to transfer him to where he belongs, to receive the punishment from his own place: from the InterGalactic Alliance; but when the Queen refuses to do so because of her stubbornness she decides to make a plan to take him and get out to get the money she needs to finally have a life- to stop killing. But everything gets out of hands when she's mistaken by a spy, and now not only does he is valuable because her life and money is at risk but because when war starts he is the only thing that can save New Venus. If she comes alive.

My opinion:

 Such and amazing book! (again haha) I really have to say thanks to Kevis for all the stories he has created but also because I don't usually read sci-fiction, besides the fact that I have never read Space Opera. So thanks for giving me a new world.

 Also, the thing about New Venus (all of it) was a brilliant idea! and I do believe they are very strong. Not because I am a woman but because they are strong.

 Can't wait to know what really happened with her father, about her mother and about the ending (not telling!) and about Mika. Because Mika and Zyra being a couple was very sweet and a strong love.

 You really have to read this. READ IT!

My review:

 Fifteen-year-old Kiera Driscoll along with other Freetors; her people that lives in the underground; such as her brother Rordan and her friend Laoise, joins The Fighters to help the Freetors to get food and other goods as they were poor, with hunger and cast away by the Marlenian; those who live in the surface; the result of a war that "ended" two hundred years ago, but the hate and issues were far from done. 

 Kiera steals by bein The Violet Fox; a young woman that uses a violet cape and mask; sneaking in every corner without being caught; but everything changes when she gets the chance to be face-to-face with young and charming Prince Keegan and while fighting to steal one of his brooch that could help those starving down there, but just when she decides to flee she gives him "the violet fox kiss"; a cut in his beautiful face and goes away with her brother. Her life changed when The Council of Elders requested her presence for a secret mission: she has to disguise herself as one of the noblewoman in search of the "love" of the Prince; as he has come to age of marriage; and retrieve something that belonged to the Freetors... is everything true? 

 Come and uncover the mysteries in this amazing story of Kiera Driscoll!

My thoughts: (SPOILER ALERT!)

 Such a wonderful story; I loved Kiera and the Prince. This story showed me how thought life really is; about hunger, being poor, how rich people spend their money in useless things, cruelty; but also about loyalty and love. I have to say that I adored Prince Keegan since I "met" him. He observed and choosed depending on what he really saw, not only the surface; and I know he felt in love with her at "first" glance and he was truly a gentleman. Can't wait to see what happens next! this really was such a good adventure story and really, I enjoyed the love parts. Thanks to the author for giving me her book to read it and write a review which I am so HAPPY to do so!

My review:

 Young and immature girl named Liril; and also poor; was one day out in the garden doing the chores of the day, when she thought what to get to her papa as it was coming his birthday. She wanted to give him something special, but as she only had one silver coin- besides the fact that her mama didn't wanted her to spent money on a item- she escaped and went alone to the market. 

 In there she realizes she really doesn't have anything at all and starts to weep, but an old lady makes her to go on a journey in search of a locket- a locket that will teach her a lesson.

My thoughts:

Another great short story by Kevis; I love to read stories that has something from the classic books and magical.

 The Case of the Syphilict Sister- Chapter 1: 

Catherine Moore, a young woman, decides to go to America's Finest Superheroic Detective Agency - serving Burlington City and the entire United States to ask if they ( in this chapter she's talking to The Green Dragon) can find how her sister; that was shot to death by a policeman; got a disease, because she knows her sister is not the kind of type to sleep around with "random" people. It seems that when she tells them there's NO way her parents will accept an autopsy the Golems will go out in a hunt to take a "body" out of the grave when they see another people already at the same grave they have to go. And problems starts.

 -Why did you choose to create the "good guys" as superheroes?

I've always been interested in superheroes. I read a lot of superhero comics as a child in the 70s and 80s, but gave them up until recently, when the internet meant I could get electronic copies of comics I remembered from my childhood.

I was particularly influenced by 'Zenith' and 'Watchmen' - two comics which treated superheroes in a relatively cynical and psychologically realistic way.


 -What made you write a story about a girl that wants to know the truth
 behind all this?

It seems to be a tradition of 'hardboiled' detective stories that there's a woman who introduces the problem to the detective. In this case I tried to make her more of a realistic character, rather than a femme fatale.


-Why create a character that doesn't believe in what they have told her?

All mysteries rely on people not telling the truth and on the reader not being sure who's lying. Also, cynical asides and banter seem to be a tradition of hardboiled stories.


- What do you think of the police/justice of this time?

The justice system was apparently quite racist and corrupt in the real 1930s. I think lynching operated more or less without any punishment in the South. However that's not the focus of the story. The police are mainly a problem that the detectives have to work around.

Whom is your favorite character?

Probably Catherine Moore (the victim's sister) or Morty (a retired superhero who hasn't appeared yet).


-If you were to choose a super hero who would it be and why?

Is there one whose power is being super-rich and popular and not having to fight crime?


-Favorite color?

I'm very interested in the idea of extra colors that don't exist in our world, but might somewhere else. This idea was in the Barsoom series by Edgar Rice Burroughs, among other places. I recently read about 'red-green' and 'blue-yellow', two colors that you can't normally see, but which scientists Hewitt Crane and Thomas Piantanida claimed to make people 'see' in the 1980s. So I guess red-green and blue-yellow are my favorite colors.

 Read the story of a middle-aged woman that is remembering the most important events that changed her life, that are recorded in her private journal where she can remember everything she has been through. All her life she has been wondering and trying to understand why her mother never told her some thoughts, memories or anything that she think of and never talk about; she didn't understood why some things where kept inside of our heads, but when she did understood she knew why. Besides living in a small town call Virginia, where everyone knows everyone and everything she starts wondering if what she's feeling after seeing a beautiful, smoking hot young guy is called love. She starts thinking everyday about this man that she doesn't even know, and worst of all she's married, has three children, is older than him and she doesn't even know him! but even so, she decides to plan something ... something that will change her life forever. 

My thoughts:

 Even if is a "short" story since I saw the book I knew I had to read it today, and I did! it was a really good story and kind of sad with the thoughts of that woman but they are SO true. -sigh- Love.. can make us do things that we may regret then.

Meet all the others sage; their problems and lifes as they decide to change back this world where everyone could learn, sing and have a peace in their lifes. But first they must capture every bandit in the world to start a new life. Are they safe?

My thoughts:

 Thanks a TONS for giving me this book! it was an awesome story and I love the characters; including the animals. Is new for me to see sages that aren't actually born but made. Every one of them was different and I can't wait to see what happens with this new beginning! and I would love learn more about the sages and Johan hehe. Very good the backgrounds, characters and information. I recommend it ;)!
